Guardia Virtual does not guarantee biometric identification accuracy and should not be relied upon as the sole means of identity verification.
The use of facial images is subject to the informed consent of individuals where required by Puerto Rico Act No. 81 of 2019 or any other applicable law. Administrators are responsible for obtaining such consent.
Vehicle information and license plate data may be collected and stored to support access control, resident notifications, vehicle tracking, security operations, and incident investigations.
Authorized users may enter information regarding protective orders, restraining orders, trespass notices, domestic violence alerts, restricted-person records, or other security notices.
Users submitting this information are responsible for ensuring that it is accurate, current, and legally authorized. Guardia Virtual does not independently verify the legal validity of these records.
Guardia Virtual may collect information from individuals who are not registered users of the platform, such as visitors and third parties. In these cases:

Administrators are responsible for ensuring that the processing of minors’ information complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Puerto Rico Act No. 81 of 2019.
The platform may rely on third-party hosting providers, notification services, messaging services, camera integrations, and cloud infrastructure providers. These providers are subject to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Guardia Virtual operates primarily within Puerto Rico. In the event that information is transferred or stored outside of Puerto Rico or the United States, we will ensure that such transfer complies with applicable laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes through the application, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
